Jeromy founded Heartland Roofing in 2025. Growing up on a jobsite with a dad who owned a construction business, he always knew that he wanted to spend his life in construction, and began his career around the age of 12, operating skid steers and mini excavators for his dad’s business, Bartz Plumbing. Jeromy is a graduate of FHSU’s construction management program, and as a strong advocate for the construction industry and the building trades, he also serves on the AGC Board of Director’s. Outside of work, Jeromy is an avid hunter, a big fan of college football, specifically the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and enjoys spending time with his wife Mykela and their two dogs, Yeti and Scout.
